Tigersharks notch up the 2010 National times!

Lincoln Vulcans Open Meet and the National county Teams event saw a bevy of National & British Championship Qualifying times for Tigersharks swimmers last weekend.

Alex, Dean, Sophie J and Soophie RAlexander Jones bagged five new NQT’s for 2010 as he swam inside the mark in the 100m, 200m & 400m FC, 200m IM & 100m BK, all with relative ease.

Dean Williamson clocked up four NQT’s and one British Champs time as he recorded times well inside the 100m & 200m Butterfly, 200m FC and 100m BR for NQT’s and the 200m Butterfly for the British Championships.

Sophie Hawkins landed three new NQT’s as she powered her way to the 50m & 100m FC and 100m BK, missing the 200m and 400m FC by just 0.02 & 0.12 of a second respectively.

Sophie Roberts screeched her way to her first ever British Championship time in the 50m FC with a time
of 28.75 just missing out on the double as she missed the NQT by 0.03 of a second.

A Very close encounter was achieved by Emily Weston in the 200m IM as she lowered her LC time by nearly nine seconds and by Aiko Takahashi in the 200m BK. They will be back at Northampton in six weeks time to try to hit the mark then.

Sam Clayton, Jacob Roberts & Kieron German all set personal best times at the Lincoln meet & Laura Young & Tom Howitt both produced great swims at the Lincoln meet and National County teams event showing massive improvements, moving them in the right direction for 2010.
