Sophie Roberts is no April fool

Sophie Roberts (14) was in the form of her life at this weeks British Championships. In her favoured event of the 50m FC she cruised to her first National QT of 2010 in a time of 28.65. The Championships was very quiet with very few entries across most events, however the quiet was broken on Thursday 1st April as Robbo powered her way down the 50m pool. Her sites are now firmly set on the 100m event to double her tally.

Jazmin Carlin swam some great races to take silver in the 200m & 400m FC and bronze in the 800m FC. Jazz is focusing on the Commonwealth Games later this year.

Dean Williamson was not happy with his 200m Butterfly swim but swam much better in the 100m Butterfly. Alexander Jones also did not have his best swim but they both enjoyed the experience.

Tigersharks were proud to be the only Swindon club to send swimmers to this Year’s British Championships.
