He also set new best times and District times at the 100m BK, 200m BK and 400m FC.

Tom Howitt was also in great form smashing all of his PB times by huge margins, while 9 year old Alex Eburne was also setting District qualifying times for next year taking the scalps of many 10 year olds on the way. Georgia Pearce also 9yrs continues to show her potential talent as she reduced her 400m FC time by a massive 20 seconds from a time set at Rushmoor just two months ago.

Briony Merritt (12) and Sophie Roberts (11) both cruised to District times over and over again with fantastic swims, both swimmers edging closer to their NQT’s for 2008. Dean Williamson reigned supreme in the Fly events and Alex Jones did the same in the IM events and produced a fantastic swim in the final of the 200m FC to record a LC time of 1:58 well inside his NQT for 2008. Sophie Hawkins (15) continues to rack up the NQT’s as she cruised inside the 50m FC time and then went on to better her 200m FC NQT with a time of 2:09.
Rosie Broad made a gallant effort on Saturday, following a debilitating bout of flu which has kept her away from training for 10 days and Stacey Wood and Melissa Glass swam some fantastic races against some really strong opposition. Laura Young swam a strong final of the 100m Breaststroke to take 7th place and James Magness was just off his NQT for 2008 in the 200m Backstroke.
