Tigersharks secure record numbers for Inter County Teams

14 Tigersharks have been selected to swim for Wiltshire County in September and October.

The Six Tigersharks swimmers selected to go to the Hampshire Centenary Inter-County Gala on September 27th 2008 are:-
Sophie Roberts, Rosemary Broad, Laura Young, Stephanie Millin, Matthew Jones and Kieron German. Deb German has also been selected as Team Manager to the County Team.

Eight Tigersharks swimmers have been selected to represent Wiltshire at the National Inter –County Team event on October 19th 2008 at Ponds forge in Sheffield. The Swimmers are:-
Sophie Roberts, Thomas Howitt, Sam Clayton, Sophie Hawkins, Dean Williamson, Alex Jones, James Magness & Aaron Lee.
Lesley Leffers has been selected as Female Coach and Diane Lee as a Team Manager.

It is interesting to note that 16 of the 26 (61.54% of the team) swimmers selected for the National team in October are from the Sx3 Squad and 10 of the 28 (35.71% of the team) swimmers for the Southampton team are from the Sx3 squad. This highlights the huge combined strength of Swindon Swim Squad as they fill a massive 48.15% of the swimmers in both teams. Both the TimeKeeper and Judge for this event are also from Sx3 clubs. Tony Stratford (Judge) and Hazel Godden (TimeKeeper).
