Tigersharks are Summer Sensations!
Tigersharks swimmers excelled themselves this weekend when the A team retained their converted Summer League Championship status and the B gained promotion from Division 3 into Division 2.
Tigersharks have been outstanding all summer and despite not winning their final rounds, they had been too good over the previous three rounds for the other teams to catch them. Despite missing key swimmers from both teams neither team was willing to give up on the end goal
Division 1 - Swindon Dolphin A were in good form on the night, but were unable to make up the deficit from the previous rounds only taking 3 points from Tigersharks on the night. |

Trowbridge A and Swindon Dolphin B found the going really tough faced with the competition from the other two teams. Tigersharks A finished with an overall lead of 18 points taking the title for the second year in a row.
Division 3 – Trowbridge B put up a much stronger fight than their A team counterparts and were the clear winners on the night by 14 points.

However great swimming from a much depleted Tigershark B team allowed them to snatch Division 3 glory and gain promotion into Division 2 for next year. Tigersharks were clear winners by 23 points overall.
Highlights came from Dean Williamson (15) who broke the Junior and Senior Club Record for the 100m Individual Medley and Sophie Roberts (11) who broke the 11/U 50m Backstroke Club Record. A fantastic feat so early in the season.
