TIGERSHARK SWIMMERS ON TOP AT NATIONAL COUNTY TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS

Tigersharks swimmers were in outstanding form this weekend as they joined forces with other swimmers from Wilts County to compete at the National County Team Championships in Sheffield .

10 Tigershark swimmers were selected to swim for Wiltshire and every one of them produced personal best times throughout the competition.

The first Tigershark swimmer to compete was Dean Williamson (14). Swimming 14/15 Williamson swam a great race in the 100m Butterfly to place 3 rd behind two 15 year olds in a time of 1:01.84. Five races later he produced another fantastic swim in the 100m Breaststroke in a time of 1:10.53, leaving him less than a second off each of the National times for both events.

Next to shine was Sophie Hawkins (13) who swam a phenomenal race to win the 100m Frontcrawl in a personal best time and National Qualifying time of 1:00.48. Sophie also clocked 27.80 on the final leg of the medley relay for 50m Frontcrawl.
