Tigersharks swimmers shine for Sx3 at ASA South West Regional Championships.

Tigersharks swimmers were in excellent form at the recent ASA South West Regional Championships. Sophie Hawkins 17yrs stole the show with a Senior Championship performance as she cruised to 1st place in the 100m Individual Medley. She also featured in the finals of the 100m FC and 50m Back. Aiko Takahashi at just 13yrs proved how polished she is becoming at Butterfly events as she snatched Junior (15yrs and under) Bronze position in both the 100m & 200m Butterfly missing her 100m NQT by a whisker! New acquisition Joe Kerslake put the past six weeks of stroke changes and hard work into place as he produced superb personal best times in all of the events he swam. Joe at just 16yrs featured in the finals of, 100m BK & 100m BR and topped off his weekend with a 3rd place in the Men’s Championship 100m IM.

Matthew Magness, Jacob Roberts, Tom Howitt, Michaela Boniface, Ella Luffman, Sophie Roberts & Emily Weston all produced personal best times this weekend. Many others swam very well considering they have trained through the competition with no rest or speed work. Sam Clayton, Bethan Webster, Tom Ryczanowski & Chris Chapman all competed well.
