Tigersharks ASC Great to start Wiltshire CompetitionTigersharks youngsters continued to show their dominant strength in the younger age groups at the Long Distance event last weekend. Following on from their clear win in the Mixed Junior Medley Relay at the Wiltshire Sprint competition, Tigersharks shone once again at Bath University"s 50m Pool. Momoko Takahashi cruised to victory and the gold medal in the 11year girl"s age group with a superb swim for a young girl her age. Team-mate Megan Campbell swam incredibly well to snatch the silver medal from Sophie Sutton of Trowbridge. Rebecca Cook swam a great race considering a recent injury that has interfered with her training for four weeks to snatch the bronze medal just ahead of team-mates Georgia Pearce and Rebecca Flack while Emma Pearce and Aiko Takahashi took Silver and bronze respectively in the 13 year age group. Rebecca Maddocks, Catherine Gullen and Bethany Martin also swam very well to produce excellent Long Course PB"’s. Conor Keye and Craig Harris were unstoppable in the boys 12 year category. Conor took gold in a superb swim and huge personal best time. While Craig Harris had no trouble securing the silver medal while stripping nearly 60 seconds off his SC time. Alex Eburne also streaked to a bronze medal in the 13 years age group in a new personal best time. Christopher Chapman swam well to snatch 7th in the Junior Championship and 8th in the Championship competition.
