Christmas comes early for Tigersharks swimmers

Six Tigersharks swimmers competed in the Plymouth Leander level 1 Long Course open meet this weekend. All of the swimmers produced some outstanding swims throughout the three day competition.

Abbie Crook (10) was in outstanding form as she smashed PB after PB on her way to being awarded the Top Girl award. Abbie has now set eight Regional times for 2012 all of which are well within the required standard. In particular her Backstroke and IM swims which were outstanding.

Abigail Cook (10) also shone this weekend as she recorded her first Regional Qualifying time in the 200m Breaststroke and is closing in fast on other times.

Tivy Durrant (10) continues to show her outstanding strength and now holds qualifying times for all events at the 2012 Regional BagCat competition.

Rebecca Cook (12) continues to record personal best times and Regional times, in particular her Breaststroke and IM swims.

Not to be outdone by the girls, Jake Hancock (14) and Alex Eburne (13) both put in some great performances throughout the three days again destroying old PB’s and replacing them with new ones. Both Boys’ also laid down new Regional Qualifying times for 2012.

Tigersharks swimmers have already recorded 90 County Qualifiers and 26 Regional Qualifiers for next year’s competitions who have qualified at the correct level of competition since October 2011.
